Cover A Lamp?

The lamp on the right makes me think,

hey, you could actually cover a lampshade with fabric couldn't you?  

Mod Podge Balls with Wrap?

I had an idea while looking at this craft:

Inspired by a different craft at Mod Podge Rocks.

Why not use wrapping paper.  We don't wrap much of anything here at Christmas (we are gift card people) but I have seen the cutest wrapping papers this year it hurt NOT to buy any.  Now I think it would be cool to decoupage some wrap onto old Christmas balls you don't use or like.  Good idea?
